Privacy

Your email, and nothing else.

This site preaches sovereignty over your data. It would be absurd not to practise it. Here is exactly what happens if you subscribe — in plain language.

What is collected

Your email address, and the page you subscribed from. That’s it. No name is required, no tracking pixel follows you, no profile is built about you.

Who controls it

Samba Diagne, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Reach the controller directly at privacy@orijins.com.

Where it is stored

On our own infrastructure, in a self-hosted Listmonk instance we operate ourselves. Your address is not sold, rented, shared or handed to an advertising network — and it is not sitting in a third-party marketing platform.

The legal basis

Your consent, given by submitting the form. Your address is recorded on our own infrastructure, and you will receive a confirmation email before anything is ever sent to you — if you don’t confirm, you hear nothing. You can withdraw that consent at any time.

How long it is kept

Until you unsubscribe. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe link, which removes you immediately — no form, no reason required, no “are you sure”. You can also just write to the address below and it is done.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for access to your data, its correction, its deletion, its portability, or object to its use. Write to privacy@orijins.com and it will be handled within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies and runs no advertising trackers. Your language choice is kept in your browser’s local storage, on your device — it is never sent anywhere. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google receives the request for the font file.

Changes

If this page changes in a way that affects you, subscribers are told by email before it takes effect. Last updated: 28 July 2026.
