Rouen, and the eight years that set the tone
I was born in Rouen, France. From the age of eight to sixteen I lived in foster care. Five sisters, two brothers. No inheritance, no network, no head start — just an early, permanent lesson in how much of your life is yours to build.
That period didn’t make me bitter. It made me precise about what actually matters: who gets access, who doesn’t, and how arbitrary the line between them usually is.
The only limits are the ones we set ourselves.
Then I went to look at the world
I travelled — not as a tourist, but with a question: what actually unites people across cultures that are supposed to have nothing in common? I kept finding the same answer in different languages. People want to know where they come from, and they want a fair shot at what they could become.
That is the whole thesis of Orijins. Return to your origins, then unleash what’s in you. It’s not a slogan — it’s the observation that made me stop doing anything else.
What Orijins actually means
The name is not decoration. Everything I build starts from the same observation: people who know where they come from take bigger risks with what they become. Cut someone off from their origins and they spend their life apologising for the gap. Give it back to them and they stop asking permission.
That is why the company is called Orijins and the product is called GAIA. One is about where you come from. The other is about what the planet needs next. I have never been able to separate the two questions, and I stopped trying.
Founder, author, musician — and why that is one job
People treat the three as a dispersion. They are the same argument delivered three ways. The company is the argument built. The books are the argument written — sixty-eight laws, two volumes out, one still being written. The music is the argument you can feel before you understand it.
If the thesis only worked in a pitch deck, it would be a pitch. It has to hold in a book you read alone at night and in a track you play on the way to work. Otherwise I am selling something rather than believing it.
Dubai, and what I’m building now
Today I build from Dubai. Orijins is the company; GAIA is the intelligence — an AI that remembers you, governed and sovereign, running on your own soil rather than someone else’s cloud.
The goal has a date on it: by 2050, artificial intelligence working for abundance — water, food, health, knowledge — for every living being. I named it GAIA because Gaia is the Earth, and an intelligence this powerful should protect what lives rather than drain it.
